This is a theme that defines the 2007/08 season.
When we were planning this season, we looked beyond the repertoire, guest artists, and orchestra to the overall experience of attending an Omaha Symphony concert. When you attend one of our performances, it’s an event that is shared by the conductor, musicians, and audience – yet it’s also deeply personal because music excites, inspires, and allows us to feel emotions more deeply.

For 2007/08 we’ve crafted a season that I know will make you feel like you are part of something special. From some of the most well-known pieces in classical music and popular names in entertainment, to a few exciting surprises and musical gems too often forgotten – this season represents a collection of experiences that will encourage you to let your mind drift, your body relax, and your soul smile.
